Stucco Repairs

If you see cracks in your stucco, you have water intrusion and if you have water intrusion then you will eventually or may already have water damage.  Water damage is a serious issue that continues to plague stucco buildings everywhere and the longer the problem persists the worse it becomes. The most obvious point of entry is at stucco cracks but even if your stucco does not have cracks there are other areas that the damage occurs and can go unnoticed for many years.  At balconies, chimneys, around windows, at roof flashings, expansion joints and all other penetration points are some of the other areas.  Health problems from mold and mildew exposure, costly repairs to structural components and delaminating stuccowalls are just a few things to worry about when dealing with water intrusion.  The good news is that we are here to address these issues and make the necessary fixes! We do not just “repair” the stucco but would consider it an upgrade. Most companies who claim they will repair your stucco will most likely apply it back to its original condition or only reinstall back to bare minimum requirements. While removing the stucco down to the inside, Platinum Wall Systems inspects all phases of the original work, we address improper installations and then reinstall not only to minimum code requirements but to its maximum aesthetic and functional potential for a long-term upgrade! Call or send us a message now for a free inspection!

Exterior High Finish Painting

When it comes to waterproofing and painting stucco walls, we are not your average painting company.  Since painting contractors should understand the types and colors of paint and primers to use, they do not fully understand the science behind a stucco drainage system, the proper areas to seal and the areas not to seal. And because of this, while attempting to keep water out of your stucco, they will actually trap it inside the wall by closing areas that are meant to drain and by contrast, fail to waterproof areas that need it. Considering the prep and painting we do to bring stucco back to life from the inside out, our prices are very competitive and we look forward to giving a free estimate and glad to answer any questions you may have.  Contact us today for a free estimate!

Architectural Stone

If installed correctly, architectural stone will enhance the look of almost any space and it will increase the value of your home or building for many years to come.  Architectural stone work is one of our passions and we specialize in the installation of different types of natural and man-made stone.  We are OCD about installing it properly because other than being level and plumb, if the walls behind the stone have not been done correctly, within a few years, the stones can start delaminating (falling off) in pieces or entire sections.  And once the stones start to break, it may become impossible to find replacements.  At that point, you will have to decide if you want mismatched stones around your building or if you want to pay good money to replace entire sections.  Another problem with not prepping behind the walls properly is that since stone and the mortar between the stone is not waterproof, you will start to develop all kinds of water damage inside whatever is behind the stone.  Contact us at anytime to go over stone options and let us show you how to achieve a professional stone job!
